We just ate there for the second time. The service is really bad. We sat there without water for most of the meal. My quesadilla was burned (black). The chips were cold and stale. The table and chairs are so wobbly I almost fell over and my chair was sitting in a big dip in the floor. They need more lighting as we had to really strain our eyes to read the menu.
But the biggest complaint is not re-filling our tiny water glasses.
We won't be giving it a third try.
The food - OOOhhhh the food: I know how to control myself, but when the food is that good, it's really hard. It's not my family's fault, they tried to raise me to be a good southern belle, but I need some form of Mexican food at least 3 times per week. This was my third dinner at this location in the last 2 months. Each meal has been with a small group of 4-9 people. Each time the group composition was different, everyone ordered something different. The orders were handled promptly and correctly. The food and beverage temperatures were correct within reason. Special dietary requests were honored without fuss or error. Separate checks were provided without demur. Every restaurant in this town has too much reverb to be genuinely civilized, so they all lose points there, but this one is small enough to be quite pleasant on a week night. I shall return with appetite, friends, and money.
Great Authentic Mexican Food: Authentic food at a reasonable price
