I moved here from L.A., where the bar is set pretty high with food. So maybe my palate needs to adjust... Seriously, why do people think this is good food? It is some of the worst Thai I have had. The cucumber salad was drenched in dressing and the cucumbers were soggy, not to mention bad/lack of seasoning. The recommended mango chicken dish was a syruppy, flavorless, gross mess, and the rice was only mediocre, at best...Don't bother eating here unless you enjoy restaurants like the Olive Garden...
This is one of my favorite Thai places in the DFW. Casual atmosphere. The food is consistently good and prices are very reasonable.
The interiors are clean but look a bit dated and in need of a facelift. Overall I like food and the service at this restaurant.
Thanks Steve for another wonderful meal brought to us by Banana Leaf, this time by take out. Mom and I were both sick and could not make it in unfortunately but called in the order. It was ready in 15 minutes, quite impressive. The Spring rolls, my favrovite were consistently delicious with the best peanut sauce in all of Dallas. Loved the Orange Chicken with the delightful orange citrusy flavor with hints of ginger coming through. Lots of broccoli too! Even slices of orange.
So disappointed to read some of these reviews coming in about your wonderful restaurant and FANTASTIC food where I have NEVER had a bad meal in 5 years and you have always made things right for me. I felt compelled to let you know what at a great job you do and how hard you work at a tough profession and how you succeed at what you do!
Hope to see you soon "dining in" Can't wait for some Peach tea!!!
All the best.
Robin

Dallas is known as having some of the top restaurants in the country. It also has more restaurants per capita than any other city in the country, which means competition is extremely high. Maybe you need to adjust your palate from all that Hollywood ass youâve been licking in LA.
