Don't let the prices fool you. It is not $10-25 per person even at lunch. During dinner it is $31-75.00 an entree. The level of service at dinner and ambiance is definitely fine dining so business casual dress recommended. While I wouldn't consider trulucks a 5-star fine dining restaurant I think it is definitely 4 or 3 star fine dining with excellent service, amazing food (especially the crab and steaks), and an adult elegant atmosphere. This restaurant is definitely "not kid friendly" which is great so that the adults can enjoy their night out without kids screaming and running around in the background. My server Nick that I had last night was very knoweledgable about not only the food but also the wine, single malt scotches, and ports and sherries. I definitely recommend this restaurant if your looking to spoil yourself, have a business dinner, or impress a date.

I went to Truluck's in Addison with a group from work. The food was awesome and the service was great. I want to take my husband back for a special night out.

My wife and I visited Truluck's last night for my wife's birthday and we left disappointed. Our waitress, Shae, asked us if we have ever dined at Truluck's before and we have not. Shae brought some bread to the table but did not tell us what type it is. My wife ate the cinnamon walnut bread and she started itching in the restaurant because she is allergic to nuts. An hour after we left the restaurant, I had to take my wife to the emergency room because she had a rash break out on her. We spent about 6 hours at the emergency room last night due to her eating the bread with nuts. After speaking with Shae, I do have some feedback on the service issues from last night. I wrote to Truluck's and here is the response from the General Manager Chris Petruska, every member of my staff scripts the presentation of our bread basket by saying "this is our cinnamon walnut loaf, and our sourdough baguette", Shae is certain that was spoken when the bread basket was presented, however Shae can sometimes be soft spoken and this script may not of been heard by you and your wife. We were not told this or she would not have ate it.

perhaps someone with such a severe allergy should make their server aware, as servers are not mind-readers and shouldn't be expected to recite ingredients of everything brought to the table without prompt. i've been to truluck's and eaten their bread....the nuts in the bread are quite large. it would be quite impressive to get nuts that big in your mouth without noticing...

Your wife is an idiot. If you have a sever allergy to something you don't eat without making sure the food is safe. Breads and desserts often have nut oil and any bread with cinnimon and a sweet profile is bound to have nuts as well. Don't blame Shae for not being a mind reader.
