User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsIf you are in Mt. Pleasant then two senoritas is by far the best mexican food you can get. Note: It is tex/mex, but that is what you can expect in Texas. American pallets are not built for true mexican food. We stick with more BBQ'ed flavors than traditional mexican cuisine. As far as the food critic she is just a californian transplant. No this isn't snoby cali. But if you are looking for piping hot food, cold margaritas, and lively atmsophere then two senoritas is for you. Note: Unlike ms food critic i am from here and she doesn't know what she is talking about. El Chico has gotten more violations over the years than Two Senoritas. Also, the service is fast and freindly. You almost never have to wait more than five minutes for a table, even on the busiest friday nights. If you want a sleepy quiet place with only so-so food go to el chico, but if you want an authentic tex/mex experience go to Two Senoritas. You will not regret it.
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI am constantly amazed at the multitude of people who would prefer this restaurant to El Chico's.
It would seem as if the main reason because Two Senorita's serves alcohol...I guess one would need it to get past how filthy the place is.
I once contacted the health department in Mount Pleasant about the out-of-order women's stall in the bathroom that had running sewage pouring into the drain into the floor. The second stall was open and there was a line of women waiting to use it. When it was my turn I was dismayed and disgusted to find that there was a sign on the inside of the door that read "do not flush tissue, use wastebasket"
The lady at the Code Enforcement office who took my compliant just replied, "I guess I better call over there and let Connie know that the bathrooms are acting up again."...Gross!
Note to Two Senoritas....if you're bathrooms are nasty, your kitchen probably is as well. If what the public can see is dirty, filthy and grimey...then what the public can't see leaves one to imagine what the rest of the place is like.Comments (1)

They are friendly,the best mexican food in town.There is no other mexiacn place i would eat.They have it with good food plus the best mixed drinks if Darrell make them for you.The owner Connie she loves her customers,and never forget your face.I tell ever body you want go mexican food go see Connie and Jorge at Two Senoritas,cause they care,and want you to enjoy the food if you do not they take care of you.

Yeah - if you like flies in your iced tea and long mexican black hairs in your food and an argument that its corn husk from the waitress. Btw - the flies happened on two different occasions as did the mexican hair. I didnt realize the food was actually made out of mexicans!
Must say I agree with Nexus. The number of high school teenagers working at this restaurant is troubling because young teenagers don't care what you think or what you want. If you want them to wash their hands before picking up your plate, they'll make you catch them in the act of not doing so before they'll wash up. Apparently, in Texas, you are on your own when it comes to eating out. Nobody cares about your health anymore. They all act like food poisoning happens to everyone but them, so they do not care until it does happen to them. This is an example of lack of education does make a difference in the quality of your life. Only thing is, unless you snap out of denial or being P.C., you will sooner eat crap than fix it. And by crap, I mean real crap. Sure the food tastes good. A heavy sauce will hide a lot of sins. At least they serve alcohol. It does kill germs.
