I love the food! I have been eating here since I was a toddler and now I bring my children. The only problem I have is that the double meat basket seems to be getting smaller and smaller. I'm a tiny girl and never finish all my food expect when I go here. I never leave totally full but still keep going back because it tastes so good. Fries are wonderful and the chopped sandwich with Ernie sauce is amazing, just not big enough :-(

Ernie's is classic, no-frills Texas barbecue at its best! Excellent, slow-cooked meat that is tender and tasty. The brisket sandwiches are top-notch. Atmosphere is everything it should be in a Texas BBQ joint - simple. There are schoolhouse desks and benches to sit at, everything is served in plastic baskets. No fancy "upscale" dining here, just solid BBQ at affordable prices. Ernie's has been at it for a long time and I hope they keep it up.

Your Oder of 400 Grit Sandpaper Is Ready: Ernie's is terrible. I only get to âenjoyâ their food when Iâm out voted by some mouth breathers I'm out to lunch with, or if someone is trying to "Faincy" up thar weddin' by having it "catered". Right............

The meat is over done and dryer than Norm McDonald doing weekend update for SNL. At least he was funny.....
