Lone Star Buffet

This place is the best place ever. We found it while we were camping and never went to another restaurant after we found it. I think the other review that thought it was expensive is wrong. The lunch was about $18 for both of us. It was so worth it. The salad bar alone was great. But I ddn't want to fill up on the salad, because they have the best home cooking ever. Their potato rolls are wonderful. They even had great desserts. Ever hear of a pecan cobbler? Like a pie, but cobbler style, delicious. We met the owner and he was a really nice guy. I would almost be tempted to drive the 150 miles from home just to eat there. It is that good.

This place is way overpriced!! I took my in-laws and it cost $79.00 for 4 people at the buffet!! I can go to the GOLDEN CORRAL and get better food and service. I'll never go again!

Best Food in Jasper: You will go here and never want to go anywhere else in Jasper. This place is off the beat and path and thank goodness for that or there would be no place to sit or even stand for that matter. You want something better than what you have been eating ion Jasper? Try Lone Star
