User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsAS I WAS ON MY WAY TO NEW ORLEANS I STOPPED AT THIS MEXICAN RESTAURANT IT WAS THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD I'VE EVER HAD IN EAST TEXAS. I WAS GREETED WITH A VERY FRIENDLY ATTITUDE AS SOON AS ME AND MY WIFE WERE SEATED THE BROUGHT US CHIPS AND SALSA TWO TYPES OF SALSAS RED AND GREEN. MY FAVORITE WAS THE GREEN. THEN THEY ASKED ME WHAT I WANTED TO DRINKS AND GUESS WHAT THEY GOT FREE MARGARITAS THAT ALONE I THINK SAVED US OVER 10 DOLLARS THEN WE HAD A DINNER FOR 2 GREAT STEAK SKIRTS WITH ALL THE TRIMMINGS. I KNOW THAT WHEN I GO BACK TO HOUSTON I WILL STOP TO EAT THERE. THANKS GUYS AND A HATS OFF TO THE CHEF

User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsSorry to have to say this, but this place is disgusting! I too loved the food, until my BF & I were eating there one day and OMG!!!!----I see this GIGANTIC RAT coming up the long stretch headed right towards our booth! It was so large, that a fork was in the floor and as it ran across the fork...it flew up in the air!!!***I'm gagging just thinking back to this*** My BF and I both screamed, and she jumped up in the chair screaming "What was that!" I told her it was a larger rat...a wood rat or something! My BF was like..."Naaaa, that had to be a cat! LOL That was too big"!! LOL The little waitress came out and then doubled back into the kitchen area. She knew exactly what it was, but had to figure out what to say I'm sure. She finally came back out, as we asked for the manager. The manager was not there (??), but she immediatley started to apologize and stated that they were doing some renovations next door. They had supposedly been having this problem since. I don't see how next door has anything to do with their business, but needless to say...we did not pay for that food. We left in disgust. It's just horrific when something like this happens when you're right in the middle of what you thought was an enjoyable meal. I'm sure all places have some problems, as we NEVER know what we are eating really. But, I will NEVER eat there again. It is just something about SEEING that...that did it for me!! To each his/her own. Another group of ladies stayed and continued to eat even though they knew about the LARGE RAT running around in the place. I kid you NOT!

I REALLY THINK UR HATING ON THIS RESTAURANT THAT WOULD NEVER HAPPEN. BY THE WAY THERE WAS A LION MISSING FROM THE CIRCUS LAST TIME IT WAS IN CENTER TEXAS MAYBE HE WANTED A STEAK...
