Large campus, yet I'm able to walk one end to another in ten minutes if necessay between classes.
Outstanding, and internationally recognized Engineering, Mathematics, and Science departments. It seems as if every year, a new building is constructed. My first year, the new state-of-the-art Planetarium, the second year, we got the MAC (Maverick Activity Center), a gym that is free for students to use, very nice. Now they are constructing a new Engineering building to complement the other 3 already in place.
I highly recommend this school, its beautiful, its talented, and its connected to the community in research and plentiful intern opportunities.
Also we are undefeated in football since 1986!

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI've been there since 2004 and definitely recommend it, especially if you choose to go into a Nursing program. By getting your Bachelor's here there is also a TREMENDOUS amount of job placement opportunities the second you graduate. There are literally 5 hospitals within about 5-10 miles!
But definitely, all programs are at a good rate in comparison to Texas Tech, Texas A&M, and UT Austin, and professors make themselves available. Once again, highly recommended.
