The staff was great. The comments before seem to have been written from friends and family to increase business. I hate to say this but the bread was not enoyable for comsuption. The food was not fresh and tasted like week old left overs having gone through peroids of refrigeration than room temp than back to freeze than heated for costumers upon ordering.I am supporter of the underdog in a sea of competiton, but I find it disrespectful to be served food that does not tast right. If you go to this resturant please comment honestly because I am not made of money and hearing postive reviews by someone how loves their 2 dollars drinks and doesnt wanna lose thier nice quiet cheap drink place to watch sports and feel compelled to support this business from going under with telling me who is from philadelphia and grew up on italain food that this place isnt worth my time for free food from this establishment. If you read this and go there and have a similar experience please go out of your way and comment to worn the next guy from this place. If this place just had better bread and even if its late throw away the old food and make fresh stuff because it was unfair spending money on this., well the soup wasn't bad...and the cake filled me since i could not eat the meal.
Place could use a little snazzing up but the food and service has always been wonderful. We go for lunch about once a month or so and have not had a bad experience. Will have to remember that Tuesday $2 drinks. Sounds like a reason to stay around after work even.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! The grilled chicken alfredo is fantastic! Not crazy about the bread they bring out first, kinda heavy. But the salad, pizza (!) and dessert...try the mousse, is the best in town! The VEGGIE pizza is to die for!!!
