Simply Fondue is simply elegant. Guests cook their own meals in a bubbling pot of oil on their table, or can stick with dipping bread in cheese and strawberries in chocolate. The dining area has comfortable black leather booths and eclectic art on light yellow walls. Hanging drapes separate the dining room from the lounge. The cuisine is Swiss with beef, steak, chicken and seafood entrees. The ambiance in the lounge is romantic with softly lit candles, red and black couches and mirrors.
Hi,
I recently went to this Simpliy Fondue (Arlington) with a group of my friends. We started out the evening in the lounge which is basicly the bar, while we waited for some more people in our group to arrive . So we wnt ahead and tried out some of there martini's .We loved them , my favorite one was the almound joy martini ( everyone should try it ). Finally all of our party was there , so went on the be seated at our tables , and was greeted by or waiter for the evening logan , he was very helpful and made the evening a blast . we all did their four course meal, for the salad I had the spinach and strawberries ( so good )and we did the spicy pepperjack for the cheese and got it spicy , it was addictive ! the main course was very tasty we all got to choose are own items. it was so much fun the cookin in the little pot with my friends . Then finally my favorite course came along THE CHOCLATE FONDUE !!!! It was heaven and the lit it on fire so we got to roast or marshmellows then dip it in the choclate . I had a blast and will be back over and over agin I deffinitly suggest you try it out too !!
I went to Simply Fondue with some friends there was 25 of us. Our service was so bad that half of our party left without ordering any food because the service was so slow. There was only a hand full of tables that were being occupied in the whole place. We arrived there at 7pm and didnt even get our food until 10pm. While dining one of our friends had asked for coffee several times and they never brought it until an hour later when the waitress claimed it had been brewing this entire time. when our first fondue pot came out it wasnt getting hot. so we told the waitress she again claimed that it was until one of my friends had noticed that it was unplugged. when the coffee finally arrived it was ice cold. everybody else in the place had come and gone while we were still there waiting on our food. the food was not good. the service sucked and the bathroom was dirty. this place was not worth 40 bucks a person. we will not be back there.
