Many things here were unprofessional. Location isnt ideal, poor surrounding area, although it is close to city.
Horrible experience: I had a reservation but their "systems were down" so they could not pull it up. No problem, this happens and I was understanding. I was put in a room with no working tv or telephones. I had to then get dressed and repack and move out of that room to go the front desk to check into another room. The night manager was rude, arrogant, confrontational and downright scary. I have never had staff treat me this way. He was upset that I had my husband call to find out if phones and tvs were down since their sytems seemed to be having issues. Since I had no working phone in the room, my husband called for me. That gave me time to finish my late dinner and get redressed and repacked. This night manager verbally attacked me in front of another customer for not coming down to the lobby myself and having my husband call for me. I was stunned and speechless. The next morning, I went to the front desk to ask to speak to the general manager. I was told he was out of town until next week. Maybe this was the problem with an out of control and unprofessional staff. I do not plan to stay at a La Quinta ever again and we are a Returns member. It was that bad.
