About:In the heart of historic downtown Grapevine, Esparza's has a steady stream of hungry patrons from open to close. Family owned and operated, the vast menu boasts handmade specialties. Esparza's is especially crowded between 5pm and 7pm, when the after-work crowd descends in search of Esparza's famous margaritas. It's charming because it was once a spacious neighborhood home and historic buildings still surround it. After happy hour, there are plenty of families, friends and couples. The expansive menu has shrimp kabobs, tortilla soup and chicken tampiquena along with a well-rounded dessert selection. For a variety of tastes in one meal, try the appetizer platter loaded with taquitos, quesadillas, stuffed jalapenos and flautas.

    Good Mexican place. Fast Service. Great margaritas and homemade guacamole. Pretty authentic food. Outside seating.

    I agree with justmoved. Too bad Yahoo doesn't offer half stars because I would give them 3 and a half. I have always liked Esparza's as a place to hang out and have a margarita and the historic area is the best part of Grapevine, but the food has just never done it for me.

    Margaritas?? EXCELLENT!!!! Food?? Not so good. Great bar for happy hour.
