my son just started going to daycare, he has never been before. he has been home with me for four years until now and everyone has been so nice about giving me tips and tricks on how to make it an eraser time for us. idk what the "angry mama" is talking about. no one has been rude or anything close to it. everything seams clean. and as for the paint on the walls it looks new to me... also i have never seen kids running and screaming all over the place. every time i go and get my son he is doing what he is told. another thing i want to add is if it was just an after school program what did she want them to learn??? it is not daycare's job to teach your child after school it is their job to watch them because you can't. and i would say if you are going to be picky about paint on the wall then maybe you should keep your son at home....
I had to take my son here only because the facility at his school had not opened yet. Not many places to chose from in a small town. So, in other words I didn't have a choice. I wasn't happy with this place from day one. Infact I nicknamed if "dirty daycare". From the time you step out of your car, you can smell what appears to be dirty diaper stinch! It floods the nostrils, and you smell it throughout the place. The room he was in (6 yr olds), was nothing but a bunch of SCREAMING UNORGANIZED KIDS! I was appauled. The "teachers" (and I use the term loosely) were EXTREMELY RUDE, UNSOCIALABLE, and not sure what was being taught. Not to mention the ladies that run the place, EXTREMELY RUDE. I have never been somewhere that they just don't seem to care. They never speak to you, I was hoping to build a relationship since I was bringing my child there on a daily full-time basis. But, no....absolutly nothing. Along the lines of tuition, I paid 115.00 a week. But apparently they charge you 25.00 extra dollars for "supplies", shouldn't that be included with the tuition??? And when it comes time for field trips, those cost extra too. Kinda weird. The last place I took him, I paid 125.oo and all the extras were included. (Clayton program, I highly recommend them)... Oh, and back to the cleanliness, or lack thereof. Just in general, not clean at all. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint to atleast make it appear clean, they need to clean the trash cans as well. (The one in his room totally disgusting). I could go on, but I think I made my point. Thank goodness school has started and he can go the after school facility provided. Oh yeah, and one more thing. He didn't attend the last full week of the calendar, kinda weird they never even called to see if everything was o.k. Not very caring.
Love it! The teachers are amazing and they have a great program

I was stunned by this review and felt compelled to respond. My son has attended for almost a year and I have never found the care providers to be uncaring or rude. Most are incredibly friendly that I have encountered. ESPECIALLY 'the ladies who run the place'. I see them emptying trash cans EVERY EVENING when picking him up and as for the odor, that is not emanating from the daycare as it permeates that entire area of Haslet and seems to be a sewage issue. When my son is ill, they call and check on him, he is clean and tidy when I pick him up and his diaper is changed. Perhaps if you found this daycare appalling you should take your $115 add another $75 a week and seek out some of the premier academy's in this area. I have seen nothing in that daycare that supports the veracity of your statement. I am inclined to believe you were 'miffed' about something and chose this route to discredit them.
sounds like to me you are mad at the world and have nothing better to do with your time than to bash others.
