About:Abuelo's, which means "grandfather's" in Spanish is located close to the DFW airport. Famous traditional Mexican and Tex-Mex dishes are prepared here in a gourmet style and are elegantly served in generous portions. Delicious entree choices include a huge platter of mesquite-flavored chicken fajita nachos, the enchilada sampler and the pechuga alcaparrada(split breast of chicken stuffed with mushrooms and monterrey jack cheese).     had a really good time here! The wait wasnt that long at all, the place was clean, the food was great and our waitress was on top of things. its really wonderful to go to a busy restaruant and have a waitress that takes care of you no matter how busy things get.

    Great mexican food and usually good service. Try the cheescake- it is awesome!

    Best Mexican food around. Totally recommend the avocado enchiladas...like a dessert...so good. Staff has always been great and it's beautiful inside. But when the weather is nice we like to sit outside as well.
