Decided to try the restaurant due to the reviews listed on this page, however we were completely disappointed!! My escargot was completely drenched in basil, not the usual garlic butter, and not only did it taste bad it overpowered the main component of the dish. My husband ordered the lamb which was cold and suppose to be a rosemary mustard encrusted rack of lamb, however it was served Moroccan style?? Is this a French or Indian restaurant?

That not nice your respond. If you want your business to continue you need to look more the needs of your clients. Figure out how you can fix and bring them back. Bad management!

Don't come back. We will not serve you. Morons are banned from our place. You were rude, crude, and looked like a dude.

Over the last couple of years I have had the pleasure of dining at some of the Metroplex's "best restaurants." I also have the priviledge of working at one of Dallas's only 5 Star/5 Diamond establishments. What I got here at Saint Emilion was undoubtedly one of the best meals I have ever eaten. From the Chef's Amuse to the delightful desserts. Everything on the menu sounded so good it was difficult to decide.

For appetizers, we had the ever-so-French, Escargot which was topped with a puff pastry and cooked with a parsley and roasted garlic butter sauce. The Lump Crab with avocados and microgreens was a very good choice for my wife, and the Steak Tartar was one of the best I have had. The fresh tomato and mozzarella salad was classic and as always a personal favorite.

My wife ordered the 8 oz. filet migon which was cooked perfectly, moist and seared with peppercorns. I had the Chef's Special: pork loin pan-seared with a morel sauce. We both were served the Au Gratin with Herb de Provance. I enjoyed this very much but my wife is not much of a potato person- besides Pomme Frites.

The best part by far- the highlight of our dinner- was the dessert. I had a warm pistachio crusted cookie shell filled with cream cheese and creme' friache. It was topped with a warm blackberry sauce and was OH SO GOOD!!! My wife chose a meringue dessert with carmel custard sauce and sliced almonds. It was good but we both were partial to mine.

The main dining room is quaint and cozy. The waiters and servers were pleasant and friendly and made for a nice evening. For a modest $50, anyone looking for a Four Course dining experience is sure to find complete satisfaction at Saint Emilion. I look forward to coming back (very soon) and trying everything I didn't get to eat the first time!

A delightful and intimate dining experience: I have been a priest in Fort Worth for over a decade, but this was my first meal at Saint-Emillion. What a treat! Authentic decor (made me think of last year's vacation in Provence) Friendly and attentive, but not obtrusive, waiters, and absolutely delicious mouth watering food -- try the French Onion Soup (you'll never again be satisfied anywhere else) and one of the two duck dishes on the menu. Despite the generous portions, do leave room for a fabulous French dessert -- this was a unique dining experience and one that I can't wait to be replicated!
