About:With a rowdy roadhouse atmosphere and gaudy diner furnishings, this funky, 50-year-old eatery is perfect for families and fun-loving folks in general. Certain nights of the week, Fred's Cafe features special themes, while weekend nights are reserved for live music and patio dancing. Authentic, mile-high hamburgers are the cafe's claim to fame. Wednesday nights are invent-a-pizza nights, while Friday nights are hot and spicy, with Tex-Mex entrees on special. Diners are also encouraged to suggest new entree combinations, which may even earn a permanent spot on the menu.

The food is great but this place is way too expensive. I really don't care for paying $14 a person to eat dinner in such a run down place.

The burgers were just ok, the atmosphere was alright, however the demeaning and lousy management outweighed anything good about this place. I strongly recommend Kincaid's, Whataburger or Mom's Cafe in Justin head over heals above here.

I wouldn't know how the food tastes here because the service was so slow every one else in our party had been served and eaten before we asked the rude manager what was going on with our order. The manager, who will be referred to as "douche", made excuses about a small grill and too many people as the reason our order was 45 min behind the rest of our party. After asking for our refund, douche screamed profanities across the parking lot at us. If your looking for mediocre food and horrible service with an uppidy attitude, you hit the jackpot. A run-down shack in Ft. Worth doesn't make you Texan.
