While Sushi Sam provides a fine experience in restaurant, watch out for take out orders. Despite multiple attempts, I have yet to receive an order that is 100% perfect (ie. missing wasabi, sauce when I specifically asked to be kept off, etc.) but tonight was unforgivable. Of my $50 order, half the dishes were wrong - that's 2 out of 4 dishes! Not only were they incorrect, they were inedible due to taste preferences and dietary restrictions of the diners. When I called to alert the restaurant, all the manager said was "sorry." Oh, and they forgot the wasabi, too.

Lesson to all - examine your take out orders with detective-like detail to avoid disappointment, wasted money and empty stomachs. Guess I'll have to order a pizza.

This is one of the best Sushi places I have ate in the Dallas, FT. Worth area!! I highly recommend it for anyone. The sushi was very fresh and thick! The Tuna Tower was absolutly out of this world!!!

We switch off between Sushi Sam and a competitor in Southlake. Going both places three/four times a year. Have never had an unsatisfying meal at either place. Each restaurant has it's different feel, different way of doing things! Sushi Sam is a wonderful restaurant, tho' I've never tried any tempura items. All the rolls and sashimi are always great. Easy to manage portions and fresh ingredients. Maybe another reviewer found the waitstaff to be rude, but I've always thought they were professional if nothing else. They have even sold me sticky rice so I could make sushi at home...I still haven't mastered the rice preparation so this is a huge help! Reviewing them makes me hungry. Here I come, Sushi Sam!
