I took my mother to Texas De Brazil for her birthday last night. This was her first time eating there. The food was amazing! The service was not good at all. When we first got there, the waitress was very attentive to us. After I asked her for regular water instead of another bottle of the sparkling water (we wouldnât have been able to drink another whole bottle), she treated us horribly and ignored us after that. She also went to the bar right in front of me and was talking to the bartender and he kept staring at me like I did something wrong and like she was talking about us. This was very disrespectful and rude, even if they were not talking about us. I had to stop someone else and ask for some water because both my mother and I ran out of water for about 10 minutes. The man who got us our water whispered something in her ear a little later and then she finally brought us our check. That was about 30 minutes after I asked her for water. She kept going back and forth between two other tables by us, but wouldnât even acknowledge us. I was intending on paying with a debit card, but due to her not coming and getting it after about 10 minutes, I put cash down and left. I was very furious and should not have been treated like this due to us wanting regular water and not the sparkling water. This was very childish on her part, and due to that, she did not receive the tip I was planning on giving and we went somewhere else for dessert. I wanted to have a nice night out with my mother and we ended up with a horrible experience.
The reason I rated it even two stars is because of the food being wonderful and the man that gave us our water and had her bring us our check. Otherwise if I was rating it on our waitress, it would be no stars.
TdB is amazing! I eat there at least once every other week and it never disappoints me. First of all, if you've never heard of a 'Churrascarria' thats what it is: A brazailian style steakhouse. Kind of like Fuego de Chao but A LOT BETTER and a fun, upscale atmosphere. For roughly $40 bucks a person, you have servers bring you your choice of: beef, lamb, pork, chicken or brazillian sausage how often as you want; HOW EVER LONG YOU WANT! I promise, I took my mom there a few months ago for her birthday, we literally ate there for over two hours! But don't let that intimidate you! They also have an incredible 50 item salad bar for those who are pretty conscious about their diet. Not to mention the awesome upstairs and downstairs bar. I usually go with my friends, but this place is perfect for groups, dinner meetings, or even just a simple dinner for two. Take my word for it: CHECK IT OUT! Shoot me an email at: jperdue85@yahoo.com. If you decide you want to eat there and let me know when. I'm friends with the manager there. They will take good care of you if you were referred by me!
Fabulous! One of my favorite places to celebrate. The house cut is so wonderful you could eat just it!!! Always treated well, even though sometimes they are a little busy on the weekends.
