OVERPRICED hotel. This hotel trys to be something that it is not. Compared to the other 4 star hotels downtown, this one simply doesn't meet the same standards.
Small, cluttered rooms. Staff was friendly, but management was NOT accommodating at all. Although not dirty, the rooms certainly could have been cleaned more thoroughly.
If you're looking for a luxury hotel in downtown Fort Worth, consider The Ashton or The Hilton. Both have a more elegant atmosphere and the rooms are much nicer. Bottom line: Not a bad hotel, but not worth the price. There are nicer places downtown for the same, and even sometimes less money.
I've lived in fort worth my whole life and I've stayed at many hotels in Texas and I can say that this is one of the best if not the best hotel in the area. It stands in the heart of down town fort worth and is known to many as the "Gate Way" in part because of it's 2 block property connected by a sky bridge known as the "Marble Bridge". It's western feel and saavy employees, it is rated high by many who stay. It has been known to host many well known celebraties all of which I will not name. So if you are ever in Fort Worth and you need a high class joint to stay in...give this one a try.
The hotel is beautiful and the service is fantastic. Parking is problematic if you don't want to park in the expensive parking garage (nearly $20!!!!!) as the city is currently doing construction on the surrounding streets. Parking at meters is hit or miss, especially during the lunch hours. That being said, however, the location is perfect: smack dab in the middle of down town with all the shops, clubs and historical sites within walking distance. Two vintage movie theaters are just minutes on foot, and the Stockyards are just a few miles north. Really a great experience! It misses out on a 5th star due to the parking problems.

The merchants in the area all have free validated parking. Also parking downtown in garages or on street at meters is free weekdays after 5 pm and 6 pm depending on the lot. Weekends are free. It is the cheapest downtown parking of any city I know even when one must pay. Worthington ahs free validated parking if you are dining there or visitng the hotel for a function.
