About:This huge limestone structure from architect Wyatt C. Hendrick takes up an entire city block. It was constructed in 1933 right next to the Texas and Pacific Railroad Terminal for easy access to mail trains. It is of primary interest as a visual delight, with its 16 classical columns displaying Texas cattle and a beautiful marble-lined lobby. Located within the same neighborhood as Burnett Park and St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, this building is a good incidental stop for pedestrians with a love of turn-of-the-century architecture. It entered the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

I can't believe I pay for this service: I have rented a post office box from this location for several years now. I continously receive the mail for the post office box one number off from mine, and have NOT received my mail who KNOWS how many times. I've had at least 30 instances of mail being returned to the sender rather than put in my box, or just never being delivered to me. It probably ended up in someone else's box! I can't believe that I am PAYING to have my mail SAFELY delivered to a post office box, and I am having all these problems! I also had the same problem the other reveiwer did. When I went to retrieve my certified letter, the post office told me they had returned it to the sender. It had only been TWO DAYS since they had supposedly tried to deliver it the first time! I'm so disgusted with the service at this location. When I think of the inconvenience of having to forward all my mail to a new location (which I'm SURE will also get lost) I become infuriated. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION!

lazy service: Your postman/woman to lazy to deliver package to my apartment door, so they "say" they tried but I wasn't home so I would have to pick it up at Post Office....You'll have lost my mail...it never made it to it's destination from my hands to yours, from yours to who knows where. GET THE LEAD OUT AND DO YOUR JOB!

VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE USPOSTAL SERVICE OF FORT WORTH, TX
