Margies was so wonderful. The food is amazing and let me say you get what you pay for. the portions are so huge i always go back for more. it may take some time to get your food but its worth the wait. if the food does take a little longer than it should the waiters are usually apologitic but we know its not their fault. the atmosphere is absolutly wonderful and the waitstaff is very nice. the outside isnt so appeling but the inside is very neat. i always have a wonderful experience.
My Husband tried to take me here for my birthday on a friends reccomendation... I arrived before he did and tried to get the table for our reservation.... the girl at the desk was very rude and acted like I was an idiot for not knowing the correct name the reservation was under... when him and our son arrived he made a big stink about the whole thing and from the kitchen we found out that she remembered taking the reservation, but someone had lost it apparently... they ended up sticking us in a table right by the door, very cramped and uncomfortable and within 20 minutes hadn't even taken our drink order and no bread or anything... which left a very unhappy 2 year old to deal with... we finally just got up and left and will not be returning due to the rude service, unorganized staff... and if you don't get a booth dont expect to have a comfortable meal...
This is not the original "Margie's". The place was sold about 15 years ago. It's no longer "Margie's Italian Ristorante", it's now "Margie's Italian Kitchen". It's hardly what it used to be. Years ago it was fantastic. Pizza brought home in a beer-flat box (was the best), This place is over priced and poorly serviced. You can find the same food quality at any Albanian ran pizza joint for half the price.
