| About: | Although tapas is the Spanish word for appetizers, this restaurant features great Asian, mostly Chinese and Japanese, appetizers that have appropriated the Spanish nomenclature. It is the superb sushi, Asian dishes and sake that draw the satisfied customers, making it a very popular lunch destination. But, there are those offerings that adventure outside of the purely Asian sphere of cuisines, such as escargots with artichoke hearts, grilled lamb chops, and sauteed spinach with tomato. |

Really great sushi. A place to go when you want something fresh but it is expensive. Went to lunch with husband and kids paid $135.
Nice chalkboard menu as well as an extensive tapas menu. Small, friendly atmosphere and personable sushi Chefs make a big difference over the 'faddish" places that are popping up all over. Excellent variety of sake and Japanese beers - no domestic stuff though.
Tranquil and Tasty: My husband and I love this place after a stressful day. We immediately feel relaxed sitting at the sushi bar and watching the sushi artists work. The fish is kept very fresh and the sushi is top-quality. I have peace of mind that the food I am eating is healthful, and I am glad to support their business. We have been there many times and have received excellent service EVERY time. If you are a first-timer, I would recommend sitting at the bar, ordering a California Roll, and then ask other people near you what they are having,,, that way you get to see what the different kinds of sushi look like and decide what you want to try in the future. If you have a group (more than four) it would be a good idea to call ahead for reservations to sit at one of the tables.
