User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsLa Familia IS by far, hands down, no questions asked THE BEST mexican food in FORT WORTH PERIOD!!! The staff is incredibly friendly, and will cater to your every whim, as well as throw you some free tastiness from time to time. (That's how I got hooked on the Chicken tortilla soup, trust me, It's good!) Their swirled frozen margaritas are unsurpassed by nothing. The atmosphere (Although a little more laid back than their original locale, and sorry smokers, no more patio) is warm and inviting, kinda like going home for a good meal with old friends. There are three things you can always expect here:
1 Excellent Service
2 Amazing food
3 genuine home cookin

La Familia is the best Mexican restaurant in the DFW metroplex in my opinion. It used to be the best kept secret in Ft Worth, but the secret is out! At lunch, if you aren't in line by 1130, you are lined up out the door. And that is with about 50 tables in there. I suggest you read the daily specials on the wall and try one. Also, they have the best fish tacos I have ever had. That is where I take someone from out of town to impress them.

I've eaten here only twice but it was really great both times. This "Roberto Sanchez" has commented on almost all Mexican Food joints in Fort Worth. Please disregard his comments because it is the same generic text everytime.
