Personally I wasn't all that impressed. I've been to real clubs from Chicago, New York, and Boston. The Ardvark is what killed the old Berry St. eclectic crowd. Places like "The Hop" and the Dog star cafe. The Aardvark is an example of developers and what "they know is a good time". The Aadvark is a symbol for the decline of Berry and west 7th.
If you like TCU women, frat boys / preppy TCU students and pompus bar tenders go for it. If you like real quaint little bars with character head downtown.
Berry street is dead, long live Berry St.
great rock house!: you put 200 people in there and a good band.you will be set for a great rock show!!
sound system is amazing...,the staff throws drinks at ya as fast as they can make um.
ALWAYS A GOOD TIME!!!!
An amazing night: The Aardvark was a great place to meet people and drink socially. I enjoyed the live music and have been there when karaoke was going on. I even sang a couple songs. There was a big crowd and a chance for my friends and I to meet other singles around our age. The drinks were reasonable prices and the service was amazing. I didn't have to always wonder if I would be getting something to drink. I always had one in my hand. I love this bar and the vibe it had when I was there!!!
