I came to buy a silver 2007 Camry, but some how ended up with a red Camry after six or more hours of stalling by the dealership to pretend to call around for a silver one. Signed a contract without agreeing to the purchase of the extended warranty. After it was printed out they tacked on the extended warranty anyway without my consent jacking up the total price. With these deceptive practices it is the epitome of the worse dealer I've dealt with. After years later with the reach around from the dealer,it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth, enough to want to take this franchise down. Enough to evoke a strong response in the future so this will not happen again.
Getting a root canal on every tooth in my mouth would have been easier. I wanted to test drive a couple cars, find what I like and buy it. I already had financing, which I told the sales person. So after test driving a RAV4, I was torn between that and a Camry LE. I wanted some numbers. The sales man Thomas went away for about 10 minutes and came back with a piece of paper that did not have a price, but had three numbers. 6000, 900 and another number I cannot remember. These numbers were a down payment (6000) and a monthly payment (900), which was NOT what I asked for (I had my own finiancing). This guy kept jerking me around. And then comes in his boss - Bill. He was no better. We decided to leave and not come back.
My husband had to deal with my, my frustration and trauma from this experience. I was not a happy camper and wanted to give up buying a car all together. He took over and we went to Vandergriff Toyota in Arlington, which took very good care of us.
My husband tried Monday (the debaucle happened on Friday) to call and complain to the GSM. He called and the operator said I can transfer you to a sales manager, but not the general sales manager.
I went back in 08 to help my fiance get a truck. I was supposed to just be a "co-signer." My fiance signed papers, and then I signed papers. Come to find out, its ALL in my name, and we didnt even get the warranty we asked for. Played phone tag with Finance, left a voicemail STILL havent gotten a return phone call after 4 tries. And it seems like every time I call, its just so happens the General Manager is either out of the office, or in a meeting. This place is PATHETIC!!!
