    Finally! I have found an honest company and AC service tech. Downstairs at our house the air wasn't cold. It was blowing out but just not cold. I called around and finally landed on Air Force out of Denton, Texas. Jamie answered the phone and there was no high-pressure marketing pitch or upsell like I got from another company that I called. She scheduled a service call for that same day. The service tech ( DREW ) was very helpful and really knew his stuff! Since I know nothing about AC units I could have easily been taken advantage of. Drew took the time to check out the blower in the attic and the outside unit to find that we had a simple issue in our fuse box ( breaker malfunction / not just tripped ). He also found the unit was 2 lbs low on coolant and the price of $17/pound is VERY competitive in our market. I learned other companies charge more for the first pound for some reason. This house is a "fixer-upper" and I have already been taken advantage of by other contractors for my lack of knowledge about certain aspects of home repair. But, my experience with Air Force Heating and Air Conditioning was so great that I feel the need to spread the word about this company.
