Dr. Sterle has been my veterinarian for over 5 years now. She does have a quiet, toned down bedside manner, but she is very caring and thorough with my pets. She even patiently took a phone call late at night when I panicked over the way my new pup was behaving. She answers any and all questions without making you feel uninformed or ridiculous for asking. I have enjoyed her and her friendly staff and would highly recommend any one to use her services.

The good Doctor took our cat for a tentative 10 day observation period due to it having biten our daughter. It died while there. True, it was ill at the time, but was showing improvement while in our care. The "crate" it was kept in at the vet's was rusty, which probably meant it wasn't steril, nor could it be sterelized. Long story short, the cat (kitten) was dead in three days. The crate she was transported there in mysteriously "vanished" and could not be located. New, the crate cost $49.00 and change, not to mention the towels that were in it. The office manager wants to now compensate us with an insult of $20.00 (?) for a replacement. Not meaning to sound like sour grapes or anything, but the care our dog received on another visit was less than professional. The good doctor thought the dog could be quite okay with a broken leg, over night" and we could just bring it in the next morning, suggesting the leg "probably wasn't broken too badly if blood wasn't involved. The dog's leg was in fact spiral fractured. A very painful break, and if a human being were subjected to this mal-practice, there would no doubt be a law suit in process. I don't really have a lot to say for Margaret Sterle's bed side manner either. Dry as the Sahara Desert. I don't believe we'll be doing much business there in the future. Too expensive for the services rendered, but then I guess they have to charge what they do to pay for that brand new facility...with rusty cages. Good luck and good fortune to anyone who passes through those doors. You might want to consider Plum Creek if you are in need of professional, compassionate service with a doctor having a caring personality.
