I purchased 2 cars in 4 years at North Texas Nissan. I live in Corinth and decided to keep my business in and support the community. Looked to be convenient and close for service. Worst service I have ever experienced. Bought extended warranties on both new cars at signing. Later I found out that they sold us non Nissan warranties. The were selling aftermarket warranties. Well, when it came time to need their services...they treated us like scum on both vehicles. I have a good friend in Corinth also who purchased a new Murano from them and has had the same pathetic service. Our most recent problem was, the steering went out on our car. Still under the warranty period, but had to fight tooth and nail to get it remedied. The free loaner car the advertise is apparently only reserved for the porters or VIP, because it is never available. After they had the car and evaluated it, they tell us that the warranty coverage will only cover remanufactured steering parts. I said I would like the genuine, new Nissan part. No go, this is when I discover that we don't have a Nissan warranty but some other off the wall company. I couldn't afford another part out of my pocket, so we took what they were so generous to give us. Well, got the car home and the steering wheel is crooked. I called them and they said the warranty replacement didn't cover an alignment. WHAT? Their service techs pus steering parts on a new car under warranty and no alignment? Next morning discovered all the steering fluid on the ground. Took it back and they said it was a faulty reman part. Argued some more for loaner, and for genuine Nissan parts. Got a loaner, but only another reman part. They fixed it and we took it home. No more leaks but the wheel is crooked. Discussed this some more with them and they stand by the fact that our warranty does not cover an alignment after suspension/steering replacement and that a genuine Nissan warranty would have. Pathetic. Filed complaint with Nissan North America and even met with a rep as they were concerned with safety. They said that this is detrimental to their brand image and bad practice, but could do nothing more than ask them to better resolve the issue. Brand new Nissan car from Nissan dealer, and they sell us a off brand warranty to make a buck. No support and shoddy service. Terrible experience. I now drive south to Bankston for all service. I regularily get thier advertisements about how they are going to give me a great deal if we come trade in our car. Yeah right, not going to be a sucker with them anymore. With the down turn in the economy, I'll bet in the near future they'll wish they did more in the way of customer retention and provided good customer service to retain at least their local customer base. Beware!

Purchased 2 Muranos on the same day a year and half ago..We have had 2 tires wear out at 19000 miles and we have had rotations on the tires every 4000 miles..The other has had the same rotations and the tires look like new ones on the other vehicle.
After taking the vehicle to the dealer and finding no reason why they wore out faster they said it was not their problem..I disagreed and was told someone would contact me the following Monday for further information...after 2 calls still no one will contact us...No customer service at all and I will take my business else where.

Already had a headlight. Charged $104 to install. It took around 10-15 minutes to install.
