I had a breakfast meal for Dinner tonight and when I got the toast, there was very little butter on it so I ask for a LITTLE more butter on the toast. The waitress took the toast and when she returned, the toast was saturated with butter and butter covered the dish the toast was on. The waitress laughed and said the cook ask it I liked it this way. They apparently thought it was funny to saturate the toast. (That will teach the customer to ask for more butter). Needless to say I was not as amused. I do not for one minute believe that any waitress or cook would think that a LITTLE more butter would mean saturate the toast with butter. Be careful what you ask for here, they seem to think customer service is a joke.
I won't go back to this resturant.: I pulled in the driveway and thought, " Great, their not busy." We walked in, and were seated right away. But then they had to move us because they said that section was reserved. Then we were seated at another table. We ordered, I wanted a chicken sand., salad and fruit bowl. after 10 min. the girl came back and said they were out of fruit, ok, well, I'll have some fries then. Before we were even given our food, the sun came blaring in a window straight into my eyes, we asked if we could get the blind closed, oh, well, their missing that blind to that window. They didn't even ask if we wanted a different table. She brought me my chicken sand. and fries, but forgot my salad, which I poitely reminded her of. After I finished my meal, I picked up the check, and she didn't even take the fruit bowl off. I told her that I'm sure the fries were less than the fruit bowl, she said no, not the kids. Then realised that she was wrong so she went and fixed the ticket and took a whole $1.30 off the ticket. I guess that meant that I paid $2.30 for the fries which I didn't want in the first place. She must have brought me the biggest order of fries they had, when I ordered the smallest fruit bowl they had. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me, but I thought that I wouldn't be charged because they didn't have what I wanted. I've only been in the customer service business myself for 16 years, what do I know? I KNOW that the staff is supposed to help make the customer comfortable and happy. They should have offered to move me when the sun was blaring in my eyes. Should have apologized for not having the fruit and offering me something else on the house. If they would have done all that, then I would have left there happy. But they didn't and therefore I didn't leave happy. I won't go back to this resturant again.
