    We and another couple have eaten at the Whistle Stop 3 times on the way to Vernon. Good ol' down-home cooking with wonderful chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, fried chicken, homemade (huge) rolls, great veggies, homemade pies and more. Plum yum!! Very tiny place that hasn't lost its charm.

    Great place to eat and very reaonable on the prices.Lots of people go there for lunch.Try It.
