This is the worst restaurent and they are unprofessional especially the owner n waitress looks very rude.
I actually like this place because I tend to come here a lot but I am rating it average because it took my awhile to actually like this place. First off, the sushi is actually very good, pretty fresh and tasty. The waitress staff however, is a bit off. We've had this young girl during dinner time and she was... just a bit horrible with service. At first she drops off our food and then she never bothered to check up on us nor refill our empty drinks. We are done with our food and then we had to wait about 15 minutes for her to recognize that just MAYBE we wanted our checks. Of course that has to take her another 15 minutes even though the rest. was pretty dang slow, she ended up sitting up at their small little bar eating before she even realized we were waiting for her to give us back our check. I vowed to never come back during their dinner time because she had ruined it for us. We don't have it in our nature to tip disgustingly, so we tipped exactly 15% because their food is still great minus our waitress. On a brighter note, we go there during lunch time and usually the owner serves us and she is very nice.
The staff consists of three college age kids, two chefs and one waitress. They always play the same burned CD repeatedly, which is nothing but the most annoying early 90s pop music. It sounds like an old CD she made when she was in high school.
I had been there a couple of times and thought the place was decent, but on my third time there, I guess the owner wasnt there, as I was waiting for the food, the very rude girl whos the waitress, started a huge comotion about one of her goldfish in her fish tank had died. Her and the two boys who were cooking all huddled arround the fish tank, and I guess they didnt think I was paying attention. They were wispering and one of the boys stuck his hand in the tank and pulled out the dead fish. As he walked back to the table where they make the sushi, he was trying to be sneaky by holding the fish in his pocket as he walked by our table.
I refused to eat the sushi that they served me and at first she tried to make me feel like I was complaining for no reason. But I could tell she felt guilty and she figured I must have seen them. So she let up pretty easily and let me leave without paying for the food that they contaminated.
The couple of times I went there I always left 20% and was very nice to them so I cant understand why they would do this to me. I cant even imagine what they would do to someone who just looks at them wrong. I hope this place gets shut down.

Your just a stuck up person. This place is awesome. I lived in Japan for several years and understand the ulture. Their food is fresh, authentic, and they have been in business for over 10 years. Alot of places come and go. They is not a fancy place, but a very cozy and cultural place to get some decent sushi. I give this place 2 thumbs up!
