I am a teenager that attended there. It was great, they help me understand things that I didn't. They put all the rules and laws in to our point of view and got down to our level so we could understand all the rules and concepts of driving on the streets. Sure I did have homework but i also missed the first 3 days and others probably had homework, which was study the handbook. But we did more than just copy a textbook, we also watched videos which taught us what to look for while driving and the cause and effect on what would happen if we did something wrong. I thought they were excellent teachers, I mean they can only teach and it is our choice if we would like to learn what they are teaching.
Go Somewhere else: We feel that we were extremely mislead by the staff. We feel that once they got their money they didn't care anymore. The online scheduling for the drive times is horrible. You can only schedule for one session per seven days. They only post seven days worth of schedule on the website. How can you schedule the seven sessions with only seven days of schedule published and you can't schedule drive times less than seven days apart. Every three weeks they turn over two classes of twenty student for drive time. You have all of these students competing for the limited number of slots. It is a good concept, but falls short. You call the office and they cannot help you or the computer is down or the person cannot operate it. The girls that answer the phone cannot help you and they tell you that someone will have to call you back. When they do finally call you back, it is usually several days later and late at night. The different instructors would give you different answers when trying to resolve issues. When finally talked to management you were made to feel like a bad parent because your child was not an expert driver. If they were an expert driver, I would not enroll them in the class. Classromm time was nothing but copying the Driver Handbook and then taking a test and gave loads of "homework." When you finally be able to talk to someone about the issues of scheduling drive time, the answer was that you have a year to complete the course. Go somewhere else. File the paperwork and do the parent taught course. We were extremly dissatisfied with this place. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
Look Elsewhere: The instructor was extremely mean. I thought my child was being too sensitive until my husband stood outside the room and confirmed it. They would not return phone calls when we tried to find a solution to our problems and gave loads of "homework." They had to copy out of the handbook for hours. Still no returned phone calls. Seriously, go to a nearby city and take from someone else. There MUST be something better because this place doesn't set the bar very high. We didn't finish the course and we didn't get our money back.
