the food is so-so, the owner is an ass. not my first second third fourth pick, but if the first four close the doors down, then i guess this would be my 5th pick.

I recently moved to the WF area and some friends took me to the Branding Iron for lunch. The food was excelent and the price was reasonable. Its not a place you are going to be waited on hand and foot but it is the best barbaque i have had in a long time.

Good food but a terrible experience! We moved to Fort Worth Tx but had a reason to be in WF this past Sat. We drove down to the Branding Iron just to take some of the chopped BBQ back home. (My husband thinks it is the best in the world). We stood in line which was completely out the door and into the parking lot! This was the slowest moving line I have ever been in. Several cars pulled up and the people got out and then afer a few minutes could tell the line was at a stand still, so they left. We finally got inside the door and third from being waited on and some spanish speaking women was at the counter visiting with the man carving the meat. She left the building and returned with a nasty looking white bucket and he took it across the counter and began to load up the scraps from te tray keep under the carving table. All the while people stood in line waiting to get an order to go. It took about an hour to get our order!!!! Please give the scraps away and visit with your friends after closing and serve the paying customers!
