Yes, they are pricey, but they are good. No, they don't put the explanations on their boards- there isn't enough room. But if you ask what something is, they will tell you. You can also look up their explanations on their website. I always look to see if there is a website for an eating/drinking establishment before I go, so I know what I'm getting. Also, Sonic is fast food, not a Coffee Shop. Starbucks has only gotten my drink order wrong in all the years I have been going there, and they remedied that with a free drink.
Agree with Frosty--they are pricy. They need to emulate the menu board at Sonic by defining what each drink is because some of us are not coffee experts and have no clue what we are ordering. When we get the drink it is not what we thought it would be and on that note got a better idea. They need to take a trip to an Asian Market where they sell "Bo Ba" drinks and see how they number each drink, provide a description, and have a picture of it. Starbuck's prices are bad enough but when you order something and it wasn't what you expected and tastes nasty you don't want to go back--equals store closings! Lastly, at this store we were the only ones in line and the employee was rushing us because we didn't order in 5 seconds or less by suggesting how about this or that...
An absolute favorite: Ever since the Starbucks opened up here in town, we've been regular customers. The employees are extremely friendly and some even remember our order down to the "no whip cream". The prices are a little expensive..but nothing too outrageous. The coffee and frappuccino's are very good and pretty darn addictive.
It's a great place to pick up a drink, some food and maybe a CD or two.
