User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMMMMMMMM: Mugs is by far the best bakery in the metroplex. I am from Roanoke and used to go by there every morning on my way to school for one of her delicious scones. Every birthday party my family has and any other occasion we can think of we always get something from Mugs to help us celebrate. The pocket cookies are fantastic everyone should try those and if you are a choc-o-holic you should definitely go for the chocolate dipped brownie (brownie topped with chocolate mousse and dipped in a chocolate shell). She will make you special cakes to order, she made the cutest Noah's Ark cake for my sister's baby shower and I dont mean she drew a picture of the ark, no she made an ark out of chocolate it was terrific, oh and you can get the chocolate mousse as filling in your cake
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMake your tastebuds say, "Wow!": Get there early if you want one of her handmade, from scratch, croissants. They go fast and for good reason. I stop by everytime to just get one of her savory brownie's topped with chocolate mouse and then dipped in chocolate and share it with three others. All of this is served with a prayer and smile in a down home environment. It's like visiting mom's kitchen for a bite if your mom was a world famous pastry chef.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBest Cake Ever!: My boyfriend had Mugs Bakery make my birthday cake this year. It was very different than any birthday cake I'd ever seen with smooth chocolate and white frosting/glaze dripping off of a light cake with cream and strawberries in the center! It was delicious and a hit with everyone!
