Don't get anything fixed here. Nothing! Not an oil change (which costs $50+ for basic), not a light bulb, not a fuse, nothing! I have had some bad experiences at some shady places but not like this. Ok so at 8:30 I drop my Magnum off because I had been having a few problems. My check engine light would come on and go off. My steering would shake. My 12vdc outlet stopped working and I needed an oil change. I have a full warranty that covers everything but the oil change. So I gave the Assistant Service Manager my warranty information and we discussed a $98 fee that would be applied for diagnostics if not covered under my warranty. Well as it turns out my warranty provider will not cover any charges from Dodge County because of the way their Service Department does business. BAD business and over charges. So after he found this out instead of telling me and letting me decide he still did a diagnostic just to collect the $98. Easy money right. The check engine light would come on because of the EGR valve. That is a part we had replaced less than a month ago by Dodge Country when we had almost $900 worth of work done for its 45,000 mile services. Before they replaced it no problems at all then after they replaced it we start having problems then they want us to let them replace it again after a month! No way! I would explain all the other problems but thatâs not the point. The point is their service. So finally a little after 4:00 I get a call telling me all the problems and how much it was going to cost. Almost $700 to fix the stuff covered under my warranty which they canât use. Every other dealership in this area is accepted by my warranty company just not them. Then he gets an attitude like they did all kinds of work or something and I just wasted his time. So I tell the assistant service manager that I need a ride to pick up my car which is provided by their shuttle service and he says OK. So I wait an hour and nothing. Now itâs almost 5:30 and they close at 6:00 so I call back. Now he says to me I'm sorry I didn't know you needed a ride youâre going to have to call the driver. I call no answer. So after another 15 mins of phone tag around the dealership to find someone to get me I end back up with him. I just want my car by now. He tells me I have 15 mins to pick it up before they close or I need to wait till tomorrow. Crazy! But I make it. When I get there I go straight to the cashier. $163 I couldn't believe it. $163 for an oil change and diagnostics which they shouldn't have even done. Auto Zone does diagnostic for free in 5 mins. I ask for a manager guess what they donât have any. I am a pretty realistic person and know nothing is free. But here you donât even get what you paid for. Just save yourself the headache and go someplace else. Total waste of time, cheap parts, rude bad service, poor work, and greedy company. Just the truth.
This dealer is overcharging big time!! I have worked at Dodge dealers for 10 years and never expected to be charged $50.00 dollars for an oil change on a Neon. I know how much the parts cost and was blown away at how much they charge for them. I am thirty years old and out of all the times I have had my oil changed, it has never been over thirty dollars to change the oil on a small domestic car that holds 4.5 qts. I was very disgusted and will never go back!!!"
The only person that I will deal with is the floor manager, Tim. I've purchased several vehicles from this dealership and have been upset in the past with the salespeople due to their lack of knowledge or professionalism. Tim is a very busy man...he does the commercials for Dodge Country and is constantly helping out by saving deals like he's done with me. I recently purchased a Challenger from this dealership and Tim assigned a salesperson by the name of Greg to help me. Between the two of them, they made it possible for me to get the 2009 Challenger I wanted and at a price that I could afford. I did not think this was possible but they did it. Please see Tim or Greg when you go in. You won't be disappointed with them. Tell them I sent you...my name is Lola.
