The food was great. The service was inexcusable. My family and I sat and waited for our drink orders for 30 minutes. As soon as we began debating to leave, the waitress FINALLY approached us and took our orders. An hour later, our food finally arrived. There was only one waitress on duty and her attitude was horrific. She never smiled, said thank you, nor did she even acknowledge us being there for a good amount of time.
If you don't mind being treated like trash, or waiting for hours on end, then this would be a good option when looking for someplace to eat. As I said, the food is very good, and you get a lot of it. But the service is some of the worst I've ever experienced in a restaurant
BEST Burger in the world....guaranteed!! My husband and I love their Texas Toothpicks as well! I can't say enough good things about this place : ) Try it out for yourself!
I grew up in a small town right up the road from this restaurant. It is well worth the trip. The burgers are great. Beware - portions at this restaurant are exceptionally large. Be wary when ordering a "large" chicken fried steak as it's actually TWO steaks. A double-meat cheeseburger at this place will probably need to be shared with a friend over a basket of fries. Previous review mentioned wait time - good food can't be rushed. You are gauranteed to get freshly cooked food here - so be patient. This place is owned and operated by a local family. Staff is great. Don't let the exterior or interior full you. You will get a great meal.
