Boyd Benny Chrysler Dodge Jeep

My husband and I went to try and buy a brand new jeep from this place and they did nothing but run us around for SIX HOURS!!! We had FIVE kids with us at the time, and plus when it came down to talk prices( SIX HOURS LATER) we were told that there were rebates on the vehicle that we wanted from the sales person but come down to it at time of signing there was no rebates. SIX hours wasted up there and we lived in Killeen, TX. The sales person LIED and the store manager did nothing to honor the reabates that was told to us by the sales person. This is a scam that they did. I warn you, DO NOT do business with them!

Only one thought comes to mind when I think about my experience so far with Benny Boyd Lampasas, " I wish someone had warned me".
I am currently stationed at Ft.Hood TX going on 5 years now in the Army and this is defantly one of those dealerships that you need to warn your subordinates about. First and foremost horrible post-buy customer care, I bought a Brand new 2008 Dodge grand caravan from them and as with any new vehicle some have there defects like a buzzing noise when the vehicle is started. OK it took 3 different visits to the dealership to get the problem resolved and with the first two being sent away as if the problem didn't exist and finnaly a\on the third time around it was fixed and ended up being related to a factory defect that the dealership had to fix. Second problem the automatic doors and lift gate would open on their own while the vehicle was in motion this to 2 weeks to fix. Third at about 18k miles the transmission started to make thumping noise at about 20mph that problem ended up being with the transmission failing on it. SERIOUSLY after only 18k? WOW automakers and you want us to bail you out. ok.. And its still in the shop estimated reapiar time 25-30 days. Nice thanks again automakers. oh so my caravan is for my wife and 2 kids by the way, and guess what Benny Boyd was nice however to give a loaner vehicle. Just guess what they give my wife with 2 kids??? a single cab dodge truck, again thanks Benny for being so kind, "sarcasm?" maybe... Oh yea Thanks again Benny Boyd you fix that right away with a Ford Explorer that stalls out in my driveway and leaks antifreeze that my dog seems to like. Oh good thing its winter too because when you turn the A/C on the car dies. Good to find out going down US-190. But its OK we got yet another loaner a Honda CRV sweet maybe this one wont break down. You can keep my caravan Benny Boyd I like the Honda better it doesn't break down..

My Advice go across the street. Oh wait a minute those are American cars too. Nevermind. I hear Lampasas has a good public transit system..

Benny Boyd Dodge Takes Care of its Customers: I have leased one new truck and purchased one new truck from Benny Boyd Dodge / Jeep in Lampasas, and my wife and I could not be more satisfied! From the moment you walk in until the deal is signed, you are taken care of.

There is no pressure, and your questions are always answered. The prices are reasonable, and their service department is second to none. Everyone at Benny Boyd goes out of their way for you...they want you to be satisfied.

The dealership always keeps us up to date with what is going on with Dodge and its products, and sends us special offers on their service. We are always informed, and that's important! Again, no hard sell here by anyone. What more can one ask for?

Also, we have ALWAYS gotten the most for our trade-ins, and we were actually pretty surprised when we leased our first truck in 2001. I had an old Chevy S-10 that needed replacing. It needed a lot of work which was more expensive than what the truck was worth. I checked out Benny Boyd's web page and gave my offer for a trade-in toward a new truck. I got more than I expected, even for a beat-up old Chevy S-10 pickup that had 150,000 miles on it! I applied on a Thursday, and got to drive the new truck off the lot on that Saturday morning. Now THAT'S dealing!

No one else does what the gang at Benny Boyd does. You really need to check them out if you want a new car or truck; they WILL go the extra mile for you.

It's unfortunate that my rating can go only to 5 stars; if I could add more stars, I would. Benny Boyd is a special kind of dealership, and a 5-star rating here just isn't high enough!!!
