User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMARY'S CAFE IS ABSOULTY THE BEST PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO GET A CFS WHILE THERE ARE MANY OTHER ITEMS ON THE MENU MY FAMILY ENJOYS GOING TO MARY'S TO EAT CFS. WE MAKE THE DRIVE ABOUT TWICE A MONTH AND VARY SELDOM DOES ANYONE STAY FROM THE CFS DINNER. THE ATMOSPHERE AND OUTGOING SERVICE HAS TO BE THE BEST IN OUR AREA. THIS PLACE IS WONDERFUL AND I WILL CONTINUE TO DRIVE OUT AS LONG AS MARY'S STAYS OPEN! THE CUSTOMERS ARE ALWAYS SERVED WITH SMILES AND THE WAIT STAFF ACTUALLY KEEP THE FLOW OF BUSINESS GOING. A LOT OF PLACES HAVE AWFUL WAIT STAff BUT NOT AT MARY'S SHE OFFERS 1000% SATISFATION THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE ESTABLISHMENT

Ventured out to Strawn Texas from Fort Worth on February 7. Based on the reviews I was extremely excited to try the chicken fried steak. WOW, this place did not disappoint. I ordered the large CFS, which comes with fries or baked potato and a side salad. The amount of food you are served is incredible. After trying countless places that serve CFS, this is the absolute best. Keep in mind the CFS is the way your Grandmother used to make, not the deep fried concoction that Chili's serves.
On another note, the place was packed and not one person was smoking. You are too busy eating to light up a cigarette. -

Food is very good if you don't mind swallowing your food with smoke! Even the waitress got all choked up when taking our order. She mentioned that the smoke bothers her. There are several rooms, I don't know why one can be non-smoking.....probably won't go back.

Sorry you had that smoke experience I hate smoking myself, I have been to Marys cafe about 5 times and never have had this happen to me In fact I didnt even realize they smoke in there, if you liked the food you should give it another try.
