User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsGreat food and greater folks.Worked there for 3 years and gained about 20 pounds.I live in korea now and these poor fools don't know what barbecue is.Much less brisket! Next tiime I'm in texas I'll make time to go down to Temple just for the barbecue there.

everyone always talks about how good clems bbq is....yuck yuck!!
Al's bbq is 20 million times better. where else can u get a chopped beef sandwich for a dollar and it tastes amazing!!
my fiance and I both eat and get miserably full for less than $7, its great! -

On Friday nights for the last 40 years I think, they have an all-you-can-eat catfish dinner. The fish is great. They also have a good deal for children. The brisque however was a little dry. Good family atmosphere with a country feel.
