I've lived in Waco area 20+ years and tried this restaurant a few times. I've never liked their food and the service was terribly slow, especially during lunch break. A friend loves it and that's where she always wants to meet for lunch. I don't recommend it, though.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsNobody beats their price!: I eat there 1 to 2 times every week for lunch. Its favorite of everybody here at work. I have tried other mexican restaurants but I always come back here, hands down. This is best for quality and price. Nobody can match this place. The waitstaff are awesome and wonderful.

I'm from New Mexico, and in the 13 years I've lived in Waco, I've been on the hunt for REALLY good, REALLY spicy Mexican food. This is the best I've found in this area for freshness of ingredients, quality of the food and service, and overall consistency across the entire menu. Best recommendation: The locals who come back time and time again ... including ME!

Mr. Johnson obviously hates the restaurant for other reasons and clearly has no idea about Mexican food. The food is authentic and very good. The staff are down home and eager to make your experience at Jalisco's a pleasant. The lunch rush is very busy for them because of their good food, good service and affordable prices. I highly recommend it.
