User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsThis place is run by CROOKS! Do not stay here! My family stayed here for the July 4th weekend and were horrified by all the peacock feces everywhere outside our cabin. The entire cabin had an overwhelming smell of urnine, and it was almost unbearable to use the bathroom from the odor. Luckily, we spent most of our time outdoors. The lake was extremely hard to get to. If you are handicapped or have ederly- forget it! You have to climb over TWO fences and hike to get to the water. There are no pets allowed on this property but there are loud Peacocks everywhere and they will wake you at 5am screaming on your roof. After we left, we cleaned our cabin and left it exactly the way it was when we came. I even swept the entire place out with a broom and made the beds. We were totally shocked to find that the woman charged us an additional $65 for cleaning! When we called, she said that she had to spend 3 hours cleaning up pet hair! Pet hair? We did not have any pets with us! Is she nuts? There are no pets allowed at the resort period! She is a total crook and I am competelty taken back at her false charges. She claims the charges are for shampooing the furniture, which I am not even sure is possible. I bet if I were to find other campers information that she does this to everyone to supplement her income! I should of known something was wrong when it was the only campground not booked up on a holiday weekend! I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone and will NEVER stay here again! BEWARE and STAY AWAY from her crooked dealings!!!!

This woman is the one making false charges. There was pet hair on every surface of the room after her family left. Perhaps it came on her children's toys, blankets, or clothes. . The fact remained that we were forced to clean, sanitize, and shampoo carpet. We took her word that there was no pet in the room and DID NOT charge her any additional fees. As for urine smells, perhaps she needs to teach her children better potty habits. The bathroom was clean when she arrived.
