Trendy and modern with lofty ceilings and a Michelangelo-like mural, Mia Bella Trattoria will impress you with its friendly charm. The location ensures daytime popularity with the business crowd, but the late weekend hours attract a more diverse crowd for evening dining. Menu prices in a modest range will further enhance your dining pleasure. For a taste experience that is certain to please, try the Scampi Pomodoro and finish with the banana bread pudding. A glass of the house wine is also moderately priced. Reservations are recommended, but not required.
Ok so my first experience at Mia Bella (Main St.)was mixed for me. I went there for Brunch with a couple of friends. First, I'll begin with the cons and end with the pros. The place is very small and cramped which didn't leave for much privacy among tables. The waitress not so attentive. She was slow with taking our orders and refills. Everytime I looked around she was socializing with the other staff members or talking to customers that seemed more like her friends. So I didn't appreciate that. I truly believe that your waiter is a big part of your experience and she was not part of the positive. I just had to get that out. However, I will say that the Bellinis were great! I couldn't get enought of those frozen concoctions. The food was great. I ordered the Eggs Mia Bella, I ate everything off my plate. I also liked that we weren't being rushed through the meal. When we were done, the waitress made it clear that we could stay as long as we would like ordering more drinks. Did I mention they were bottomless drinks? Overall, I would come back and try it again because the food was great, and because of that everything else seems meaningless.
We have been to this restaurant for lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch and have LOVED the food every time! The atmosphere is comfortable. The service is just what you need it to be - if it is lunch the service is quick and professional, dinner more relaxed, and brunch attentive yet causal. Peter, the manager, has always come to greet us and confirm that we are pleased and David, one of the waiters, always takes a moment to say "hello" even if he is not assigned to our table that day. I have recommended this resurant to may of my freinds and now they are regulars. Don't forget to give yourself a treat at the end of your meal and order a dessert - any one of them- they are all great!
