| About: | This theater, formerly called the Aerial Theater, is located at Bayou Place and is definitely worth attending. Each floor has its own bar and concession stand, which makes lines much shorter and indulging yourself more convenient. The seats are a bit small, but you will have a terrific view from virtually every seat in the house. Additional balcony seating is also available with its own restrooms nearby. Productions range from comedy to concerts, and ticket prices vary. |

It's easy to gripe, but. . .: Friends and I just attended a concert there. Another reviewer mentioned the seating. It's as bad or worse than they say. If you are overweight, you aren't going to fit in these airline-seat-like folding chairs. Four hours was physical torture.
And, as another reviewer said, the sound was somewhere between really bad and awful. . . and I'm used to "pretty bad." Well, this didn't even rise to the level of "pretty bad."
You can't sit down close but at the end of a row. I paid $150/ticket to sit 15' to the side of the stage down front, but directly in front of me was a curtain. I'd have been better-off back another ten rows but more toward the center.
I would not travel to Houston for another concert in this theater because of the seating and sound. Everything else was really good (bathrooms, concessions, location) but they need to fix the seats and sound. They have to know how bad it is, but not-care.
The walls shake, rattle and roll: Small venue in the heart of a very large city. This place is tucked in a corner, but once inside it opens up. Downstairs is mostly standing (or dancing) room only during concerts, while table seating is added for stand up acts.
Consession lines can be long, so is the line to get into the place. If you are bringing a purse it gets searched.
Review: The Virizon Wireless Theature is a good place to go if you want to hear music or see a play. Jesse Macartney comes there a lot, Kelly Clarkson plays here a lot, too. A bunch of good singers play here. Even a Ozzfest was played here. This is a good place to go!
