| About: | Live jazz entertainment plays nightly at Sambuca Jazz Cafe. Bands are mostly local, but the management books at least one national act a month. A cover charge only applies for national acts, and the amount varies. Think of a lounge with a bordello-like appeal and you are probably thinking of this downtown hot spot. The cigar room alone is worth a visit. The menu features seafood and Mediterranean-style pasta dishes. |

I have always liked Sambucas, We have been going there for at least 10 years. Its changed, but the food is still good and its great to find a place that serves food Late, and has good music. We really like it. Good times. Saw the Rockets players there one time and we got to talk, it was great. It is a little pricey but who cares when you are there for a good time. Thanks for being there
For wine and good live music (jazz, a little rock, & alternative) this is a smooth place to visit. The food is too pricy & overrated. Fri-Sat nights are packed @ 8:00 til' so get there soon or be patient for a long wait.
I enjoyed the atmoshere of the restaurant. The music was wonderful. The food was not what I would call delicious. If I were to go back it would be just for the live bands, not the food.
