Truly Outstanding: Rancho Loma is a hidden treasure. When driving up to the beautiful limestone ranch house with white light and candles on the stone patio, I feel like I could stay a life time. The inside is small and intimate while low lighting for great atmosphere. The menu is set (wonder and creative, not what you would expect out in the sticks of TX, certainly)and you can bring your own beverage of choice. Now for the big question, how is the food? Or better yet, how is the food for a couple who never eats out because we believe we can cook better than any restaurant; a husband who never orders steak out because his own is the best and a wife who used to work for a well acclaimed catering company in Dallas. THe food is unbelievable- you can't believe that is can be that good but you know it is because you are sitting there eating it, looking at each other.
If we could we would go every week. Thank goodness it has a good following of loyal customers- it gives me a piece of mind to know I don't have to drive to Dallas to get outstanding food for those special occasions. It is truly outstanding.

Can't wait to go back!: One of the best resturants I've been to in Texas. From the food, the atmosphere, the setting. It was great!
