Katz used to be great, the fried pickles, the stuffed cabbage rolls and of course the famous monster rueben sandwich, the signature. The problem now is the serving size which has greatly diminished, it really is enough to make you decide to find another place, especially considering price compared to portion. We would go get a huge sandwich, there was no way we could finish it so it became a perfect little pick me up for the next day; now, forget about it. My boyfriend almost needs to buy two just to get full, I can finish my sandwich and even dig into the fried pickles; this is just ridiculous since we typically both eat normal portions. They need to step it up and get back to the old program. Do not get caught up in under-servicing your patrons for a penny.

Always open, great after-party grub spot. I love the hot dogs, real beef, saurkrout, scrumptious. Of all the numerous times i've been it's always enjoyable.

I haven't ever been sick from anything I've eaten here. Great food. I love the complimentary pickles and the fried pickles! They have a wonderful ruben sandwich. They also have a really great assortment of German and traditional Jewish foods.
