| About: | The museum crowd treats this popular eatery as a 'see and be-seen' establishment. The sleek, nouveau decor and soft classical music provide the perfect degree of sophistication without crossing into the 'stuffy' realm. Expect to enjoy a classy dining experience with exceptional, non-invasive service. Equally sophisticated, the menu features spiced-up versions of many traditional Chinese favorites. Try the Asian vermicelli with one of several spicy meat or seafood options. Beer and wine are plentiful, but a full bar is not available. |

Greasy food. Low quality meat and poultry. Prices aren't terrible though. This place has a good rep, but I don't see why. Very mediocre. Heavily Americanized food, not a dining experience you're going to remember.
My fiancee and I went 5/08, and we spotted a huge roach crawling up the wall near the table where we sat at the back of the restaurant. When I told the manager, he just laughed, and needless to say, I was shocked. I will not be attending this restaurant again! The food is okay at best and overpriced for what you get.
I'll be back: This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. The food is delicious, the service is great and the ambience is urban yet intimate. Parking is a major issue on busy nights but patrons may now park accross the street behind the red brick house. Alas, like all best kept secrets, Kams has grown in popularity and size. I preferrred the atmosphere back when they took up only half of their present space. The increase in size led to an increase in price and wait time. Nevertheless, the end result is a great night out, fantastic food and the pleasant feeling of having spoiled yourself a little.
