way overrated, the place is tiny and overcrowded. the menu items are expensive and the portions are small. seems that everything is cooked in the same plancha stove because the food tastes of burnt cooking oil. by far the worst aspect of this place is the horrible attitudes of the wait staff. they forget your order and look like they are constantly angry, the charge extra for chips and salsa.
I have been going to Taqueria Del Sol since 1984. (Technically, I have been going to the location since before 1984, but it was a Post Office in the past.) Taqueria Del Sol serves excellent beef tacos (including hard shell), tortas, alambres, milenesa steaks, charro beans, rice, guacamole, quesadillas and breakfast tacos. The salsa is excellent, but I would not say that it is the best in town. The refried beans are allright, but then I find refied beans to be a boring food.
The service is usually excellent.
Overall an excellent restaurant since 1984 maybe late 1983. You may have to travel through Suicide Circle to get here, but well worth the risk.
I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!! they have THE BEST salsa in da world!!!:]]]
Forget Ninfa's. Check this place out!
