We're visiting relatives in Houston and the Marriott folks suggested we try Two Rows. We were looking for an excellent meal and the idea of a Brew Pub didn't grab us too much...but, we gave it a try and are we glad we did! The service was excellent and the food was as good as any fine restaurant's. The tuna was the best we'd ever tasted. So, if you're looking for a place with great atmosphere and great food, this place is well worth a visit. UPDATE: We went a second time and the food and service were just as good. We're going again tonight! YUM!
not a bad place but...: not a bad place but not too impressive. not worth driving to if ur outside rice village but good place to check out if ur in the area
Sit down service. Waiter checked up on me many times during the service. Multiple TVs with sports programs around, although in awkward locations. Most of the mounted, smaller screens were too far away and the booth I was in was right next to the big rear-projection screen, and so the picture was hard to see. I did get to see the Bucs take a lead over the Astros, which was pleasant. This place apparently has many good home brews, although I don't drink, so I wouldn't know. A very good thick burger, probably the best I've had in Houston so far and decent fries. The bacon was nicely glazed. The burger was made to order (medium rare). The meal was filling, although there were no leftovers. A tad expensive for me to visit often, however, I'm hoping for occassions where I can have an excuse to visit again.
